Peter was an informative and fun guide. The tour of Melbourne was great and the visit to Phillips Island for the Penguin Parade was outstanding. Very well done arrangements! We can highly recommend Peter for any tour in the Melbourne area.

This was the most fun day we had in Bulgaria thanks to Pavlina! She did an amazing job telling us about the history of Bulgaria and the sites we were visiting while keeping things interesting and funny. The driving time flew by quickly with her stories, and although we had a long day to see all the sites, it didn't feel that way at all. The different towns and sites were beautiful and I would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Bulgaria to do this tour with Pavlina and get a real sense of the country.

Tomas is EXCELLENT! He customized Mt Alban & Atzompa potters tour to our exact specs. Constantly giving historical & current information as we drove or visited sites/artisans. Translated & explained. He helped me -80 yr old- climb the pyramid. Was concerned for my husband's physical & stamina limitations throughout the trip. Flexible in our itinerary, visits, & time frames. Worked with his contacts en route to provide spur-of-the-moment unique stops. He is knowledgeable, passionate, licensed, friendly.

Our family of 5 took an all-day tour with Michael Grizzle on 1/3/23. We definitely give a 5 star review. Michael was so accommodating, friendly and provided so much information about the local culture. The family said it was the best day in Jamaica. If you want a personal Jamaican experience, this is the company to book with. They will take you to any destination or experience you request. We are extremely happy, and you won't go wrong with booking with this company.

We very much enjoyed discovering more of Varanasi with Kunal. Kunal is passionate about his city and its people, and it feels strongly when walking down the alleys of the Old City, and while boating along the shores of the Ganges. He is a great story teller, but he also knows to listen to adapt the tour to his guests preferences and expectations. We can only recommend this unique experience, which makes a visit to Varanasi more fulfilling and insightful, shaping beautiful memories for a lifetime.

Juan was an excellent guide in Mendoza. Punctual, with a clean car and very prudent driving. He is also a connoisseur of the wineries and makes good recommendations and comments. We highly recommend him as a guide.

OMG - I can't say enough good things about Richard! He was waiting for us at the pier upon our arrival and treated us like royalty. He showed us many points of interest in Jamaica (got us special treatment at a couple stops) and is very knowledgeable about the area. Such a great sense of humor (kept us laughing), very courteous and just a great guy all around. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone looking to see Jamaica rather than taking a "one size fits all" tour! Best tour guide EVER!

What a perfect way to see Penang in one afternoon. Our private guide Billy's enthusiasm was contagious and he made it a super informative yet fun day for us, despite the heat! Even the teenagers were captivated.
Heaps of variety throughout and colourful stories that made each place come alive. Highly recommend for a shore excursion and Billy took the best care of us.

Comfortable Tour, competent guide. The guide was very responsive to personal wishes and is also very competent in many areas.
In our case, the tour took place in perfect German, very pleasant if, like us, you don't really speak English.

Our guide Jon Moorhouse was fabulous! Our tour of the Cotswolds was truly the highlight of our two weeks in England! Jon was so easy going, and very enjoyable. He made our day together an absolute delight. Jon had a wealth of knowledge about the area and customized the day to suite our interests and provide us with the maximum benefit of our time. Our family had a great time with him and felt as if we were spending the day with a friend! I would give him a 10 star rating if that was possible!

My wife and I had a wonderful day with Yousef. He met us at the airport in his very clean, comfortable car. Took us to the Citadel , then the Roman Theatre and on to the central Mosque. The best parts though , were his food stops !!! Had Armenian sausage sandwiches and kanefah - sweet carmelized crunchy pasta with goat cheese and toasted almonds - SO Good !! Walked us through the produce market - explained all the things for sale there. Had best falafel in Amman at a little shop near Rainbow Street. We highly recommend Yousef !!

Outstanding, we enjoyed our time with Patrick on our tour. He was easy to find from the port, his vehicle was clean, spacious and safe and he is a wonderfully charming man. Very informative with giving us in depth information on each town regarding history etc that we travelled through. We didn't feel rushed at all he took us to a lovely spot for lunch that we would not have been aware of without local knowledge. I would highly recommend using Patrick as your guide and using Tours By Locals every time!

The Laos tour guide from ToursByLocals, Chansay, was a fantastic tour guide. He was ultra-responsive when I messaged him in the weeks before the trip, and willing to adjust our itinerary at the last-minute. He knew his country very well, but also had a good awareness of international history and current affairs, allowing him to contextualise his commentary. His written and spoken English was excellent, allowing us to communicate with him easily. He is a friendly and humourous guide who was willing to share aspects of his own personal life too.

Jacques was great. He stepped in after my original guide contracted covid, And with no notice, seamlessly took me through the day along the French Riviera. His tour was customized to my interests and in an interesting and often humorous way.

Had a fantastic tour with our guide Deborah. Deborah was very informative with historical and local knowledge. Deborah took us to areas we would not have found had we hired a car. Deborah has incredible knowledge of Barbados and we leaner a lot listening to her facts about the island. After spending time with Deborah and with knowledge she imparted to us we are certainly looking to return to this beautiful island in the future. Dave & Jeanette
